The Toyota Camry has served as one of the best-selling mid-size sedans in the industry for well over a decade and the latest model looks ready for the spotlight. The 2018 Toyota Camry will make its official appearance at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit next month. The announcement came with a teaser photo of the new Camry’s taillights and the tag “Prepare to Stare.”
Toyota is ready to roll with the new Camry’s official debut. The company already has a livestream page set up where visitors can sign up for notification when the stream starts.
The Camry has managed to stay on top of its segment with a conservative style, but following recent changes from competitors, the 2018 model could be a major change. The teaser photo shows thin LED taillights, large wheels, and sweeping character lines.
Rumor has it the new mid-size sedan will see a 2.5-liter four-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, and 3.5-liter V6 engines across the lineup.
The North American International Auto Show takes place at the Cobo Center in Detroit and opens its doors to the public on January 14th. Press preview days start at January 10th. Expect more official news then!
