For 2016, Toyota has an all-new Tacoma mid-size pickup headed our way, and this year, Toyota means business. On the heels of the redesigned 2015 GMC Canyon and Chevy Colorado midsize pickups, Toyota is upping the ante for its updated 2016 Toyota Tacoma.
Totally redesigned and more premium and refined than ever, the 2016 Toyota Tacoma promises to be a show-stopper. In an effort to give the new Tacoma the attention it deserves, Toyota has launched a major new ad campaign, which the company says will be the biggest advertising push for the pickup in more than ten years.
“I’m totally pumped that Toyota is introducing an all-new generation of the Tacoma,” says Jack Hollis, group vice president of Marketing, Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc. “Tacoma is already the top-selling midsize pickup in America, and the 2016 builds off the off-road heritage of the last generation, while giving guests the opportunity to take it along as they experience things as never before. I’m really excited for the road ahead.”
