It’s now officially 2015, and our New Year’s Resolution is simply to enjoy all the great new vehicles coming out this year, especially from the Toyota brand. In that vein, we’ll get an early look at one of those vehicles when the new Toyota Tacoma debuts at the North American International Auto Show later this month. The truck, a 2016 model, is fully redesigned and ready to take on a reinvigorated crowd of midsize truck competitors.
The Tacoma has not been redesigned in a decade, but it’s perfect timing for an update, as other automakers begin dumping new midsize truck models into the market. Of course, the Tacoma has an advantage over all these new trucks; it’s an established and excellent product already, and thanks to the redesign, it’s even better than ever.
You might have noticed that we are being pretty vague about the actualities of this new truck and its design. But that’s just because we don’t know—the brand has kept the details very secret, waiting for the auto show to make the big, exciting reveal. So check back with us after the show opens for updates on the Tacoma and to catch our reaction to the new look. In the meantime, come see us at Muller Toyota to check out the rest of the lineup.
